Parkway Animal Hospital is well-known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff and for its clean and modern building.

Our Staff is the basis of all of our services.  Each individual's talents contribute to your pet's better health.

Mary Brumley manages the front office of the clinic.  Usually Mary is your first contact with us, as she fields phone calls, makes appointments and structures the day of all the medical staff.  Mary comes to Parkway Animal Hospital from a retail background and attended Lambuth College here in Jackson.  If you need to make an appointment, or even to find out which of our staff can best help you, Mary is the person to ask!

Christy Brasher is our veterinary assistant  She has had years of experience caring for pets at several veterinary clinics. She is our "jack-of-all-trades", helping in the kennels, up front and most of all, in the exam rooms and laboratory, so you and your pet can have an easy, comfortable visit.

Bill Haltom is our Facility Manager.  He maintains our clinic, both inside and out, and still finds time to excercise and play with the animals that are boarding. Bill coordinates the staff and can often be found helping pets to the car or chatting about your favorite pet trick in the room!

Elizabeth Armstrong is our Animal Caretaker.  She is currently studing at Lambuth College in pre-veterinary Biology.  She is our primary care-giver to boarded animals and she helps the doctor on several days between schoolwork.

We take pride in our hospital building.  Parkway Animal Hospital is not a large facility, but we think bigger is not necessarily better.  Our medical clinic provides plenty of room for outpatient visits, in-hospital care and surgery, yet it is small enough for all the staff to participate in each medical case.  The more knowledgeable the staff can be, the more complete your pet's care can be.  For your pet's health, the boarding facility and the hospital have completely separate climate controls.  For safety, our kennels are separated from the hospital by fire-rated walls and all areas of the building are protected by fire and burglar alarms.  We strive to keep every patient as clean and comfortable as possible.  We often hear people comment that our building smells fresh and our facility is clean.
